The company is managed solely by Kirby Carroll Wright. After interning in news and public relations. Kirby worked as a marketing consultant for iHeartMedia, INC. She gained experience in working with agencies, creating commercial copy and increasing return of investment for various industry clientele. These clients ranged from small businesses, non-profits, agencies and independents.
Since then she made the transition into television and film by attending American University’s Producing for Film and Video graduate program, and starting her own web-series. Kirby has worked with clients such as WeTV, Spike Lee and MTV in a marketing capacity. She has written for numerous publications and brands. Kirby hopes to take her knowledge of public relations and marketing and combine it with her love of production through A.K.C. LLC.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Communications) from Clark Atlanta University and a Master’s Degree (Producing for Television and Film) from American University. She is also a brand ambassador for Black Girls Do, an organization dedicated to destroying the negative perceptions of Black women. She hosts and conducts numerous events on behalf of this organization. When not immersed in AKC LLC she works as a Video Distribution Coordinator for Cox Media Group.
